Azores Banco de Portugal 2 1/2 Mil Reis Prata 30.7.1909 Pick 8b PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ. This handsome Portuguese type has been overprinted and repurposed for the Azores, as evidenced by a red overprint at front, and black overprints on the back. At the time of cataloging, only two notes of the 25 graded in the PMG Population Report have been granted EPQ status. Underrated with such good paper, and generally uncommon in any grade.
