British Colony. George IV "Anchor Money" 1/8 Dollar 1822 MS62 Prooflike NGC, Br-859, NC-1C2. Wide "8," plain date. Numerous die striations, and appears to have been struck with a rusted die. Blue, silver, and brown patina with mirrored fields. Very likely a Proof, rather than merely Prooflike, as Mr. Partrick believed. Purchased from J. Stewart on December 13, 1979
