British Militia Token (Button) ND Fine, cf. MB-1 (different design). Plain edge. Medal alignment. 23mm. 5.37gm. Biface, with shank removed on reverse and the button used for trade token. All of the legends are easily readable, but the crown shows considerable rubbing in the center. Of similar design to the type illustrated in Charlton, though likely from a later period. Very scarce. Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance. Purchased from Warren Baker on August 11, 1974
