Lower Canada Mule "Civilian Bust" 1/2 Penny Token 1825 VF Details (Environmental Damage) NGC, LC-53B (Extremely Rare), Courteau-49 (R10). Plain edge. Medal alignment. An incredibly rare combination of the "Civilian Bust" obverse of LC-58A1 and the "To Facilitate Trade" reverse of LC-53A. Darkly toned, with light marks and faint porosity. An incredibly rare Mule issue, with only 2-3 examples known. Warren Baker states on his envelope that this is possibly the "Hidden" specimen, sold in 1914.
