Henry VI (1st Reign, 1422-1461) Groat ND (1430-1431) AU50 NGC, Calais mint, Incurved Pierced Cross mm, Rosette-mascle issue, S-1859. 27mm. 3.83gm. Silvery-gray toning with light drapery of gold. A very peculiar piece, as Spink indicates that the incurved pierced cross mint mark was only in use until 1427, though the Rosette-mascle series itself did not begin until 1430.
