Ferdinand VII 2 Escudos 1820/1 M-GJ MS64 S NGC, Madrid mint, cf. KM483.1 (overdate unlisted), Cal-150 (same). Rare quality in general for this fractional gold denomination, let alone with an added 'star' for exquisite eye-appeal, and a seemingly unpublished overdate to wit. Even more impressive as the sole Spanish 2 Escudos to be designated as such, marking a true 'gem' of the series.
