Description
Naples & Sicily. Ferdinand I gold 15 Ducati 1818 UNC Details (Obverse Cleaned) NGC, KM287, Fr-856. An uncirculated example of this popular gold type, the obverse showing evidence of a long-ago cleaning. Both sides are handsomely tinged with olive-gold color, and the strike remains bold for the issue. Rarely offered in higher grades, thus highly collectible as such.
