Description

Silesia-Liegnitz-Brieg. Georg III, Ludwig IV & Christian gold Ducat 1653 MS64+ NGC, Brieg mint, KM401, Saurma-Jeltsch-297, Plate XXI, 117, F&S-1725. Elias Weiss as mintmaster. A hauntingly attractive representative of this scarce and coveted Silesian issue featuring the joint, armored busts of Georg III, Ludwig IV, and Christian held within glasslike golden opulence. Immensely lustrous and fully struck, this issue rarely comes better. The single finest example certified by NGC to date.
