Description

British Colony. George III bronzed Proof Restrike Penny 1793 PR64 PCGS, Soho mint, KM6 (Rare), Prid-6. Fully struck, and an appealing restruck Proof emission of the type, posited by Pridmore to be late Soho strikings before Taylor got hold of the dies, and laden with a deep maroon-tinged clay tone. Though not noted as such the holder, this coin clearly omits the rope from the tip of the bowsprit over the spritsail to the foremast.
