BACTRIAN KINGDOM. Eucratides I the Great (ca. 170-145 BC). AR drachm (18mm, 4.24 gm, 1h). NGC MS 5/5 - 5/5, Fine Style. Diademed, draped bust of Eucratides right, seen from front / BAΣIΛEΩΣ / EYKPATIΔOY, the Dioscuri on horseback prancing right, both with couched spear in right hand; A behind, MΛI monogram beneath forehooves. Bopearachchi Série 2e. SNG ANS 623. Incredible portrait. Areas of toning on bright flan.
