ARMENIAN KINGDOM. Tigranes II the Great (95-56 BC). AR tetradrachm (27mm, 15.52 gm, 12h). NGC Choice VF 4/5 - 4/5. Tigranocerta, ca. 80-68 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Tigranes II right, wearing tiara with starburst between eagles standing outward looking inward, bead-and-reel border / BAΣIΛEΩ-Σ / TIΓPANOY, Tyche seated right on rock, holding palm; river god Orontes swimming right before, A on rock, laureate border. Kovacs 72.2. Nice style, with areas of toning.
