THRACIAN KINGDOM. Lysimachus (305-281 BC). AR tetradrachm (28mm, 17.03 gm, 3h). NGC AU 5/5 - 4/5. Posthumous issue of Uncertain Mint in Thrace, ca. 300-250 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon; dotted border / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣΙΜΑXΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, Nike in right hand crowning name, left arm resting on shield decorated with lion head boss, transverse spear beyond; ΦΛ monogram in inner left field. Müller 320. Strongly struck from exquisitely detailed dies.
