L SEPT SEV PERT-AVG IMP IIII, laureate head of Septimius Severus right / P M TR P-II-COS II P P, Jupiter, bare to waist, seated left, Victory right on globe in outstretched right hand, grounded scepter in left. RIC IV.I -, cf. 48 (denarius). Calicó -. Extremely rare - no examples in sales archives. Magnificently struck from pristine fine style dies on satiny flan.
