Naples & Sicily. Ferdinando IV 120 Grana 1798 P-AP MS65 NGC, Naples mint, KM215, Dav-1409. A marvelous example of this large silver type with full mint brilliance and excellent eye appeal, the surfaces combining light texturing and a glasslike shimmer to yield a superb interplay of light, further enhanced by the presence of scattered light tone. There is a natural flan crack at 2 o'clock, as made. Ex. Heritage Auction #3024 (April 2013, Lot 24986)
