Leopold I 5 Francs 1833 MS66 NGC, Brussels mint, KM3.1, Dav-50. Position B variety. A praiseworthy survivor graced with a silty obverse patina that comingles crimson and earthen color to admirable visual effect. The reverse, similarly graceful in its appeal, reveals a fine silver and almond tone over easily discernible luster. Only a single certified example, also in this auction, certifies finer.
