Description

Ferdinand III Taler 1646 MS64 NGC, Graz mint, KM920, Dav-3189. Profoundly lustrous for a coin of its age and type and expressing well-balanced, sharp detail over a characteristically curved flan, a product of the roller dies by which the specimen was produced. Appropriately, the fields carry a lovely "rolling" argent luster, coupled with an attractive silver tone, itself surrounded by a well-arranged spread of glowing peripheral highlights.
