Warring States Period. State of Chi "Three Character" Knife Money ND (400-220 BC) Certified 85 by Gong Bo Grading, Hartill-4.6e, Jen-26. 182mm. 45gm. The obverse characters read: "Qi Fa Hua" (Qi Legal Money), and the reverse character reads "Qi" (seven) or "Bi", with possibly another character above. A fairly handsome and well-preserved example of this early and well-made knife, featuring pronounced raised edges as a way to cut down on wear on the characters.
