Indonesia's tumultuous economic roller coaster ride lead to a plethora of banknote series intended to curb the rising inflation that persisted. The 1000 Rupiah was the highest denomination of the Sukarno series to enter circulation. Notice the prefix XM at back, which is a replacement. Not commonly found in high grade, this offering is worthy of consideration.
