Solothurn. City Taler ND (1550-1570) XF45 NGC, Dav-8758, HMZ-2-821b. A somewhat scarcer taler type which often comes in heavily circulated states, featuring the armor-clad figure of St. Ursus and a double-headed eagle above the arms of the city. While this specimen admits even rub over the devices, the whole of the piece evinces sound execution and an exacting strike, with many of the finer details of the design still discernable.
