William Wilberforce bronze Specimen "Slave Trade Abolition" Medal 1807 SP65 PCGS, Eimer-983, BHM-627. 53mm. Produced for the abolition of the slave trade, sanctioned by the Slave Trade Act, which entered the statute books on March 25th, 1807. Red-brown with an appealing clay-like patina and struck in admirably high relief.
