Charles II gold 2 Guineas 1682 AU53 NGC, KM443.1, S-3335, Schneider-Unl. A superb example of this very scarce issue, the first of its date we have had the privilege to offer and only the fourth of the series as a whole. Remarkably clean, with light, even wear over the high points and a tinge of deep coppery tone adding to the overall appeal. A few minor adjustment marks upon the lower reverse are noted for accuracy.
