Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. Franz Friedrich Anton Taler 1805-L MS64 PCGS, Saalfeld mint, KM131, Dav-831, Thun-371. Mintage: 600. Only a one-year type, and one which stems from a very low original mintage, seen here in a brilliant near-gem state--the surfaces pervaded by a caramel and opalescent tone that is truly one of a kind. One of just a small handful certified, and only the second example of the issue we have handled.
