Hameln. Free City Taler 1556 XF45 NGC, Dav-9231. Struck in Hameln (Hamelin), a relatively smaller town in Lower Saxony and minor member of the Hanseatic League. A very elusive type, and the first of its kind that we have offered to date. Sharp for the assigned grade, with glints of argent luster retained throughout the fields.
