Napoleon III gold 100 Francs 1862-BB MS61 NGC, Strasbourg mint, KM802.2, Fr-581. A scarce first-year issue of this Strasbourg type, with a mintage of 3,078 pieces. An even spread of light contact marks places the piece within the range of the grade assigned, but do little to obscure a light, attractive reflectivity brought on by the underlying presence of die lines throughout the fields.
