Struck to commemorate the Battle Málaga, also known as the Battle of Vélez-Málaga, the largest naval battle in the War of the Spanish Succession, which took place on August 24, 1704 off the coast of Spain. Produced to exceptionally high obverse relief, with a blanket of iridescence lending sharp visual appeal, light hairlines noted for the sake of accuracy. Accompanied by old red leather case with velveteen interior.
