British Colony Countermarked Bitt ND (1770-1772) XF40 PCGS, cf. KM17.1 (under Martinique, host unlisted), Prid-19 (under Dominica). C/S (XF Details). 2.66gm. Displaying type IV, heart-shaped countermark cut from Peruvian Real of Ferdinand VI, dated 1755. Attractive and slightly glossy, with coral green laid over the surfaces.
