Charles IV gold 8 Escudos 1790 So-DA MS61 NGC, Santiago mint, KM42, Fr-19. As a type, decidedly challenging outside of the circulated ranges, with only a handful seen by NGC in Mint State. The specimen carries a sheen of golden luster across the fields, with fewer hairlines than usual noted for the grade, though a couple of moderate instances of contact are visible in the left obverse field.
