Archduke Ferdinand Taler ND (1564-1595) MS64 NGC, Hall mint, Dav-8099B. Very rare quality for the type, with lightly glossy surfaces awash with lovely antique tone and an especially sharp reverse strike. For the sake of completeness, an array of adjustment marks on both faces should be mentioned, but they are quite shallow and evenly spaced and do little to detract from the overall beauty. The sole specimen certified by NGC for the variety.
