A stunning near-gem, and one that can quite easily be said to stand on the very precipice of a finer grade, clearly pressing the upper bounds of its assigned designation. Astonishingly clear and blemish-free, the surfaces do not display the least evidence of post-mint wiping or handling, disclosing only minor remnants of die rust and swirling die polish lines. One of just 5 Proofs currently certified by NGC with none yet awarded Ultra Cameo status, our research indicates an utter paucity of Proof strikings of this date coming to auction in recent years.
