Description

Ferdinand VI gold Cob 4 Escudos 1750 L-R MS65 NGC, Lima mint, KM-A47, Fr-13. 13.50gm. An astonishing representative of the type, struck in the final year of production of cob gold coins by the Lima mint. A lovely velveteen appearance and central sharpness combine to create an imposing aesthetic impression on the obverse. The reverse, admirable in its own right, displays typical doubling with boldness to match the obverse, alongside glistening golden luster held within the smooth central regions. A laudable conditional survivor, and the absolute finest across both NGC and PCGS combined.
