Perhaps the most striking feature of this Proof emission is its cameo contrast, absolutely full by virtue of the heavy mint frost that graces the raised devices, including Victoria's bust, these features set against fields that serve as complete golden mirrors. To add further unique appeal to this rare Proof type, a lovely sunflower gold tone enhances the surfaces, taking on such intensity to the reverse that the surfaces appear almost bathed in a neon-like luminosity, the addition of amber toning accents providing a completing touch of balance. For accuracy we note that both the coin's alignment and W&R reference are mis-described on the current holder insert. An all-around superb piece, and among the best that we have had the privilege to offer.
