Description

George IV gold Sovereign 1825 MS63 PCGS, KM682, S-3800. Choice uncirculated with a pleasing light gold color, shimmering luster, and a highly original appearance. In fact, quite a superior example of this rarity in the short-lived series showing this portrait style combined with the St George reverse. The date remains the second-rarest of this type, and only few pieces have reached the market that can claim to be better than EF or AU. Accordingly, this certified coin is of truly special merit and should be hotly contested by knowledgeable Sovereign collectors.
