Prussia. Friedrich II "Levant" Taler 1767 MS63+ NGC, Berlin or Magdeburg mint, KM317, Dav-2595, Olding-371. A superb "Levantetaler" (Levant Trade Taler) of Frederick the Great, preserved in full Mint State condition. Lightly streaked silver tone graces the obverse surface, where Frederick's bust remains sharply sculpted against the fields, these retaining glowing argent brilliance. The reverse, equally commendable in its own right, offers exceptionally intricate engraving, a clear distinction between this special issue and the longer-standing "regular" types in the Frederick II taler series.
