At the time of cataloging, this banknote is the single finest of only two examples graded in the PMG Population Report for notes dated 1945 and 1947. Additionally, only the C/8 and C/9 prefixes bear this date, for a total of 200,000 notes issued. All extant examples of this denomination are a treasure, as this is one of the most desirable emissions for the entire African continent as well as for the British Commonwealth series.
