Seychelles Government of Seychelles 10 Rupees ND (1936) Pick 4b PMG Very Fine 25. Any George V portrait banknote from the Seychelles is a prize, since issuance was extremely limited. The Seychelles has no indigenous population. In 1956, when data became reliable, the population was still less than 37,000 people. This rare 10 Rupees, issued in 1936, features a small serial number that actually began with the 1928 banknotes. A Commonwealth rarity, examples of this type are missing from many collections. Notations at back do little to mitigate the overall appeal of this offering.
