French West Africa Banque de l'Afrique Occidentale 50 Francs 22.4.1948 Pick 39 PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. French West Africa banknotes from the 1943 to 1954 series are enormously popular and challenging to find in pack fresh, Uncirculated grade. This series was printed on delicate, thin paper, which did not withstand the tropical climate of French West Africa well. This explains why there are so many dates in the series. Interestingly, we have not offered this denomination in Uncirculated grade in the past.
