Alexander I copper Pattern Rouble 1804 MS63 Brown NGC, Soho mint, KM-Pn65, Bit-Ж925 (R1), Diakov-293.1 (R1). Plain edge. Designed by C.H. Kuchler. Highly engaging, the armored, draped bust of Alexander I has been definitively struck, and the beautifully simplistic reverse presents an enlarged cross with date below. The planchet displays an all-over rich, mahogany color with highlights of reddish-copper found throughout the vast expanses. While small areas of pitting are observed, evidence of handling remains extremely minor. Ex. Soedermann Collection
