Description
Regensburg. Free City gold Ducat ND (1765-1790) MS62 NGC, KM388, Fr-2564. With the name and titles of Joseph II. A lovely example of this iconic city view type, rarely encountered in any condition and much less with the lustrous uncirculated surfaces exhibited here. Struck on a slightly wavy planchet, as typical for the Regensburg issues of this period, providing a pleasing rolling effect to the already watery fields.
