Louis XV Ecu 1773-BB VF Details (Cleaned) NGC, Strasbourg mint, KM-Unl., cf. Dav-1332 (for type), Sobin-Unl., Gad-Unl. A truly remarkable phenomenon in so well-researched and published a series as the French Ecus--an apparently unpublished mint-date combination. Purportedly only the third known example, and of immense significance for the mint-date collector looking to complete their collection. From the Storck Collection
