Description

George V gold Sovereign 1914-C MS65+ PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM20, S-3997. A scarcer date with a scant mintage of 14,871 pieces, and especially difficult in grades approaching gem. The present example is certainly near the pinnacle of available condition, with gleaming sunny yellow surfaces that are devoid of distracting marks, and a hint of rose gold tone pervading the devices of the reverse. An impressive piece and very desirable as a prime representative of this popular issue.
