A very rare one-year type featuring a very handsome early portrait of Peter the Great. While at first seeming to be a relatively modest grade, the offering immediately impresses with its commendable eye appeal and original appearance, and we note that of the just 10 examples of this date certified, only 2 rank finer, neither of which has achieved Mint State. Sold with old collector's envelope and notes giving the provenance.
