Description

Vittorio Emanuele III gold 50 Lire Anno XIV (1936)-R MS62 PCGS, Rome mint, KM82, Fr-37, Pag-661 (R2), MIR-1124a. A scarce Italian issue, which saw a total production limited to only 790 examples in 1936. Though the type is of a characteristically shallow design the offering seen here appears fully struck, with no areas of even minor weakness and sharp rims bordering the central expanses. Sold with old auction tag.
