Japan Greater Japan Imperial National Bank, Tokyo 5 Yen ND (1878) Pick 21 PMG Very Fine 30. An always desirable type, rare in any grade and in all varieties, this specific banknote was issued through one of the Tokyo branches of the Imperial National Bank, as evidenced by the text within the green wreath at front center. A few light smudges and rust specks are mentioned for accuracy on this otherwise beautiful 19th century type. Desirable, and rarely offered.
