China Bank of China 20 Dollars 1.6.1913 Pick UNL Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. The Standard Catalog lists and acknowledges denominations of 1, 5, 10, 50, and 100 Dollars for 1913, in either Issued or Specimen form. However, the 20 Dollar denomination is omitted, most likely because it was not known to exist. Here, in auction now, is an extremely rare, possibly close to unique, 20 Dollar Specimen from the 1913 series. Completely original paper is seen, printed in orange color schemes with a blue accent. The Yellow Emperor, Huangdi, from Antiquity, is seen at front. We have not previously offered this type, and there is likely an extremely limited number of extant Specimen. Hole punched cancellations and typical overprints are seen. A fantastic rarity, Unlisted, and necessary for completing a denomination set for the 1913 series from the Bank of China.
