Bearded bust of Varahran V right, wearing mural crown with korymbos set on crescent; monogram and sri (Brahmi) to right / Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants, crescents flanking flames. Sunrise 927 var (no monogram). Sind was the furthest extent of Sassanian dominion in the Indian subcontinent. Very rare gold coins were issued under Varahran V (420-438 AD) by his local governors.
