Lower Canada brass "Vexator" 1/2 Penny Token 1811 F12 NGC, Br-559 (R3), VC-3A2 (Extremely Rare), Haxby-4C, Robins-29339. Plain edge. Reverse aligned 90 degrees clockwise. One of just two brass strikings of this Vexator token in Mr. Robins collection, and the finer certified of the two, with the last--a VG8 Brown--realizing $3360. Though showing similar weakness to that specimen, the present offering admittedly is better struck, with sharper definition to the devices, accented by charcoal coloration. Ex.
