Nova Scotia. Victoria bronze "Mayflower" Penny Token 1856 MS64 Red and Brown NGC, Br-875, NS-6A1, Courteau-319, Haxby-MS-8. Plain edge. Medal alignment. Variety with LCW initials below bust. Exceptionally nice, with a considerable amount of mint red color remaining, and only slightly muted luster. Sold with old collector's envelope. Adopted obverse (Haxby die SP-2): Short tiara (at its right end the hair touches the jewel at top and the band ends with a lozenge).
