Nova Scotia. Victoria Specimen "Mayflower" Penny Token 1856 SP65 Brown NGC, Br-875, NS-6A1, Haxby-MS-10. Medal alignment. Variety with LCW initials beneath bust. A sensational gem whose details and peripheries remain outlined in mint red, subtle touches of iridescence visible throughout. "L.C.W." is incompletely struck, but discernible underneath the bust. Adopted obverse (Haxby die SP-2): Short tiara (at its right end the hair touches the jewel at top and the band ends with a lozenge).
