Northwest Company copper Holed Token 1820 Fine Details (Corrosion) NGC, Br-925 (R5), FT-10B, Robins-29106. Plain edge (very faintly engrailed around 12 o'clock). Medal alignment. One of the most iconic issues of the Fur Trade, always heavily coveted for their extreme scarcity, and similarly almost always found holed and in poor condition due to so many being discovered in excavations. For reference, a piece in the same grade brought $1680 in our last Doug Robins sale. From the Doug Robins Collection of Canadian Tokens, Part II
