Western Samoa Territory of Western Samoa 10 Shillings 13.7.1955 Pick 7c PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 EPQ. A well preserved 1955 dated 10 Shillings with the signatures of Thomas Clifton Webb and Leicester Mitchell Cook. Administered by New Zealand, the notes from this series were issued as needed with dates and signatures applied on an ad hoc basis. This vibrantly colored note is the highest graded of seven registered examples in the PMG Population Report. The last example we handled in an Extremely Fine 40 EPQ grade realized $1200 and expect this finest known 10 Shillings to easily surpass our low estimate.
